Customer Caroline Macleod-Smith shows us around her double fronted Victorian property, where she lives with her family. After major home renovations, Caroline needed window furnishings to complete the transformation. She chose Thomas Sanderson to design and install stunning handcrafted shutters.
After refurbishing her home, Caroline wanted window furnishings for her large windows for the front facade and sides. It was vital that they looked as good from the outside as the inside. As her house is on a road which can get busy, she wanted to find a solution which provided privacy, and also complimented its Victorian architecture.
"My designer recommended shutters as they are a perfect solution for bay windows. He also showed me different louvre colours and sizes. I opted for larger louvre sizes as they perfectly suit the proportions of my home’s Victorian architecture. I’m absolutely thrilled"
Caroline is delighted with her vinyl shutters, because they are BOTH easy to clean and look stunning.
Caroline selected shutters across the whole of her house’s front façade to bring a uniform look, which does not detract from its classical Victorian architecture.
Caroline opted for Tier on Tier shutters, which provide optimum privacy for guests using the guest bedroom, as her home is situated on a road that can get busy.
It's the small details that elevate our products, like these quality hidden hinges in our shutters which offers a smooth operation.
With two independently operated sections, the clever design configuration of these Tier on Tier shutters enables Caroline and her family to maintain their privacy, yet light and air can still flow into the main bedroom.
After discussions with our expert designer Chris, Caroline decided to choose larger shutter louvres, as they are perfect for the proportions of her double fronted Victorian house.
