Thomas Sanderson Limited is a multi-channel business supplying window furnishings for the UK domestic consumer.

Thomas Sanderson is committed to ensuring that it takes a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act of 2015. Thomas Sanderson is fully dedicated to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its business activities and supply chains. All of our products are manufactured in fully owned facilities based in the UK or sourced from approved global suppliers.

Policy and Procedures

Our guidelines for our employees and suppliers are based on the principles outlined in the following documents:

    • UN Declaration on Human Rights
    • Relevant International Labour Organisation (ILO) guidelines
    • Thomas Sanderson Whistleblowing policy

Our workers are all free to join trade unions and the Employee Forum. Thomas Sanderson has a dedicated People and supply-chain team to manage any worker issues and to audit suppliers. The Company's whistleblowing procedure enables workers to make disclosures, without fear of reprisal. 

Due Diligence

Thomas Sanderson carries out due diligence when considering on the engagement of new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Day Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Thomas Sanderson's Slavery and Human Trafficking statement for the current financial year. It was approved by the Board of Directors on 9th June 2020, and will be reviewed for suitability at least annually.
