Our Lasting Care Service option is available to all conservatory blind customers and is designed to extend the life of your blinds. While our conservatory blinds come complete with a five year guarantee, like all precision engineered products, a regular programme of maintenance will ensure every component continues to function smoothly for many years to come.


We check all assembly components for wear and tear - replacing parts as necessary, including handset batteries for electric blinds.

We release all your blinds at the top rail and clean behind the fabric using a soft brush attachment. We also remove surface markings from any hardware.

We then refit your blinds while checking all drive cords and re-tensioning accordingly, re-silicone support wires to all your roof blinds.


Unclipping the blinds at the top rail so any dust or trapped insect debris can be brushed down from behind the fabric
Removal of any surface marks from hardware
Check all manual and motorised components (applicable to electric blinds) for wear and tear and replace any parts as necessary
Refit blinds, checking & re-tensioning all drive cords – clean and re-coat support wires to all roof blind
Checking & testing the operation of all blinds
Replacing handset batteries if necessary (applicable to electric blinds)
No call out charges (currently £60 plus VAT) – for the life of your Thomas Sanderson Lasting Care agreement
